SIBTF.org is a nonprofit organization that was originally funded by professionals in the medical-legal industry. It provides education and legal referrals to injured workers who may qualify for additional injury benefits from the State of California’s Subsequent Injury Benefit Trust Fund (SIBTF). 

We know that legal action can sometimes be overwhelming, so we are here to help. So you can focus on what really matters, your health and well-being.  In California, the SIBTF is a source of additional compensation to injured workers who already had a disability or impairment at the time of injury.

The fund empowers employers to hire disabled workers without fearing liability for the effects of previous disabilities or impairments. Lastly, the SIBTF Claims Unit issues SIBTF benefit checks to injured workers after the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board awards benefits.
