One Wedding Garter vs. Several Prom Garters

It’s no surprise these days that some high school students end going to the prom 3-4 times. I have a son to prove it. He went three years while he was in high school. Then after he graduated, a senior girl asked him to take her to the prom and he did. That is a grand total of 4 years. I was happy with one time. The first prom year I went all out. I bought prom favors, personalized prom favors and a prom garter. Then when I realized this was not a one time experience all that came to stop. Times have changed – no doubt. My daughter is getting married in 2 months so we are going to go shopping for a wedding garter and wedding favors. I pray she is lucky enough to have found the man she will spend the rest of her life with.
